I remember at Google(?) where they explicitly asked you not to reply with "Thank you" in a support ticket because it just re-opened the ticket and created more work for them. Sort of the same theme. I often wish there was the equivalent of the Slack reactions to messages for emails, so I could just tap an emoji and send back everything that I needed to get across.
